Schedule of Activities for Admission to Direct Second Year of Post SSC Diploma in Engineering/Technology for the Academic Year 2025-26

The activities and scheduled dates for Maharashtra State/All India candidates are as follows.

**Facility of Online Registration & Documents verification, confirmation of Application Form for Admission to Seats other than CAP Seats shall be continued till the Cut off date of admission. Applications registered, verified & confirmed through e-Scrutiny Mode or Physical Scrutiny Mode after Last Date i.e. 05*-07-2025 shall be considered only for Institute Level/Against CAP Seats.

NOTE:     
1) Information regarding E-Scrutiny Mode and Physical Scrutiny Mode for Online filling and confirmation of Application Form for admission, Eligibility Criteria for admission, Application fee, Important Instructions for candidates etc. shall be as per the admission notice published by this Directorate vide, DTE/Diploma- Admission Notice/DSD2025/252-EN, Dated 19/06/2025. 2)There are FOUR basic operations in CAP Rounds. (a) Option form filling (b) Allotment of Seat (c) Seat acceptance and rectification of errors, if any(d) Reporting to the Institutes.
After allotment of seats candidate shall accept the seat as per below mention instructions.
a) The candidate shall accept the allotted seat by opting Freeze and Not Freeze (betterment) option through his login by self-verification/certification of his claims and documents uploaded to substantiate his claims related with qualifying marks, category, gender, reservation, other reservations etc. made in his application form are authentic and correct and shall pay seat acceptance fees through online mode.
b) If candidate/institute founds that his earlier claim made while filling the application form is not correct then candidate has to correct the error, (errors as per the clause (e) of sub rule(4) of rule 9 given in information brochure). These candidate shall report the grievance in this regard through his Login either by e-Scrutiny or Physical Scrutiny Mode.

4 Accepting the offered seat by the Candidate through his/her login as per Allotment of CAP Round-I.

a) Candidates who have been allotted the seat as per their first preference in Round-I (autofreezed), shall accept the seat and pay the seat acceptance fee through online mode. Such candidates shall not be eligible for participation in subsequent Rounds.

b) Candidates who have been allotted the seat other than first preference and if satisfied with the allotment and wish to freeze their allotment shall accept the seat through their login and shall pay the seat acceptance fee through online mode. Such candidates shall not be eligible for participation in subsequent Rounds. [Candidate must exercise this option carefully.]

c) Candidates who have been allotted the seat other than first preference and want to accept it subject to apply for betterment in the subsequent Rounds must accept the allotted seat in Round-I with “Not Freezed”(Betterment) option and shall pay the seat acceptance fee through online mode.

NOTE:
a) Candidates who have accepted the seat as per 4(a), 4(b) above must report to allotted Institute for confirmation of admission.

b) The Institute shall verify the required documents and upload the admission of the candidates in the online system through Institute Login immediately and shall issue a system generated receipt of confirmation of admission & fee paid receipt to the candidate. If it is found that the seat allotted to the candidate is on the false claims made in the application by the candidate, then institute shall not admit such candidate and such candidate shall raise the grievance either by e-Scrutiny or Physical Scrutiny Mode to update his/her credentials.

Admissions for Institutional Quota and vacant seats after CAP (Refer Rule No 13 and 15 for admission)
1 Invitation of application for Institutional Quota and vacant seats after CAP.-
a) Institution shall invite applications till date of allotment of final CAP Round by notifying schedule of admission and the number of seats in each course to be filled by the institution, by advertisement in on the website of the institution.
b) In case, candidate is unable to submit the application directly to the concerned institute, then He/She can apply to Competent Authority for Institute Level admission through https://dsd25.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/ Application of these candidates will be forwarded to the respective institutes up to 08-08-2025 in the institute login.

Important Note: -
1.All types of candidates whose names are appeared in the final merit list shall be considered for admission through CAP.
2.The candidates aspiring for admission for Institutional Quota, seats remaining vacant after CAP, it is mandatory to get registered, documents verified and confirmation of application either by E-Scrutiny Mode or Physical Scrutiny Mode. Such candidates must apply separately to Institutes for admissions. Merit of such candidates shall be prepared by the Institute at the institute level.
Important Instructions for candidates:-
1. If candidates fail to confirm online filled application form as per the mode selected either by E-Scrutiny Mode or Physical Scrutiny Mode, then such applications will be rejected and name of such candidates will not appear in the merit list(s) prepared for the purpose of Admission for both CAP as well as Non-CAP process.
2. All Backward Class candidates (for VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC,SEBC Category) shall produce Non Creamy Layer certificate valid up to 31st March 2025 as per the mode selected either by E-Scrutiny Mode or Physical Scrutiny Mode. If these candidates are not able to produce the Non Creamy Layer certificate, then such candidates will be treated as GENERAL category candidates and such candidates will not be able to claim Reserved seats under the admission process.

General Notes:-
1. Candidate who have opted Physical Scrutiny Mode can avail the IT facility which is available at Facilitation Centre (FC) free of cost for submission, scanning and uploading documents, and confirmation of Application form.
2. For Physical Scrutiny Mode:, List of FC's is available on website and these FC's shall remain open during the schedule between 10,00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m
3.Eligibility, Rules & regulations for admission shall be made available on the website.
4. The schedule displayed above is provisional and may change under unavoidable circumstances. The revised schedule, if any, will be notified on website https://dsd25.dtemaharashtra.gov.in Please visit the website or contact the concerned office of the Joint Director of Technical Education, Regional Offices for further details.
